The 2020 Greene County Fair: 

August 2 - 8, 2020

Our fair opens at 8 a.m. every day and closes whenever our entertainment is over for the night usually around 10 p.m.


2020 Membership Ticket ($25): 
Last day to purchase a membership is Saturday August 1st, 2020, Must be 18 Yrs. or older and a resident of Greene County. Membership Tickets allow re-entry into the fair.

2020 Weekly Ticket ($30)
Weekly Tickets allow re-entry into the fair.

Pre Gate Admission ($5)
Can be purchased in the Fair Office not throughout the fair, NO- RE ENTRY ON THIS TICKET

Daily Gate Admission ($6) (10 & Up must pay to get in)
(9 and Under get in free with a paying adult)

Senior Citizen Discount Day - get in for $3


Rides will not be open on Sunday, August 2, 2020
Monday - Thursday Aug. 3 - 6, rides will open at 4 p.m. 
Wednesday, August 5 will be Family Night from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. wristbands will be priced at a discount with special giveaways for children. 
Friday- Saturday Aug. 7-8 rides will be open at 1 p.m. 

Prices for the ‘Unlimited Rides’ Wristbands will be later announced. Without a wristband, rides will be priced individually.

Priority for our campsites during the fair is given to those people who have camped in the past. Once you have a camp site for the fair, you will have the option to purchase that campsite for the following year’s fair. If you would like to be a new Greene County Fair camper, please call the Greene County Fair office at 937-372-8621, or stop by, and ask to be added to the "Camper Waiting List." When camping sites become available, the Fair Office will contact those on the list about camping for the current year. In order to be added to the Camper Wait List, you must provide your name, address, phone number, and the length of your camper.

After paying admission to the Greene County Fair ($6.00), there is no additional charge for events at the Entertainment Stage. Some bleacher seating is available at the Entertainment Center, but feel free to bring lawn chairs if you choose.

Events held at the grandstand on Sunday (Calf Scramble), Wednesday & Thursday  (Harness Racing) are free with paid admission to the fair. 

Events that require additional tickets are listed below. Tickets may be purchased at the office under the grandstand on the day of the event.

The Greene County Fair Book is available for rules and regulations regarding entering animals for the fair.

Last day to fill out entry forms for the 2019  Greene County Fair will be Friday, July 12, 2019. Physical items that you wish to display will not be accepted on this date. Due date and times for item drop-off are posted in the Fair Book.

Entry tags for household arts, horticulture, and floriculture open class entries may be picked up in the Fair Office from 8:30 to 4:30, after July 17, 2019 . Many exhibitors pick up their tags on the day that items are due for display. These dates can be found in the 2019 Fair Book.

All tags for the horticulture/floriculture exhibits must be picked up before 8:00 a.m. when the fair opens on Sunday, July 28, 2019, to avoid having to pay fair admission.

Greene County does not have an open class rabbit show; open class poultry show; open class goat show; or open class llama show.

The Greene County Sheep Committee has an Open Market Lamb Show, this is for Greene County Residents only and takes place on Monday of the fair.

The Greene County Swine Committee sponsors a Swine Jackpot show in livestock building 2. Registration for this event will be held from 8:00 am. - 9:00 am. on the day of the show.

An open class feeder calf show will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm in livestock building 3. Registration/weigh-in for this event will be held from 9:00-11:00 am on the day of the show.

If you would like to park inside the gates of the fairgrounds, a reserved parking space must be purchased prior to the fair. Reserved parking spaces are available on the fairgrounds in the paved lot outside of the Assembly Building and in the gravel lot behind the livestock barns. The cost to reserve a spot for the week of the fair is $40.00*. Once you have a reserved parking space for the fair, you will have the option to purchase that parking space for the following years fair. If you would like a new space, please call the Greene County Fair office at 937-372-8621, or stop by.

Free public parking during the fair is available outside of the gates adjacent to the fairgrounds.

*Dually truck parking costs $45.00. Dually trucks must park in designated wide spots behind the livestock barns

All photographs taken at events on the Greene County Fairgrounds may be used for promotional purposes. The Greene County Agricultural Society is not responsible for pictures taken of persons on the fairgrounds.


No person shall be permitted to make solicitations of any nature on the Greene County Fairgrounds except within a contracted concession or commercial rented booth space from a director in charge at the Greene County Fair. Anyone renting a booth space must stay within the confines of their rented space and not interfere with their fair patrons either coming into or going out of the fair gates or on the fair property.

No persons shall be permitted to post or display signs, distribute handbills or advertising material or sell or distribute free, any merchandise, except persons under contract with the Greene County Agricultural Society Board of Directors. Each person under contract for the Greene County Fair must operate under the Rules and Regulations of the Greene County Agricultural Society Board of Directors. No persons shall misrepresent themselves for any reason.
